Responsibilities:

  • Lead and execute global regulatory strategy for new product development and sustaining product maintenance, including document submissions and international product approvals and renewals.
  • Serve as the executive interface with local and international regulatory authorities, including direct participation in inspections, audits, and regulatory meetings.
  • Direct all aspects of regulatory affairs strategy and quality assurance for new product development and sustaining product maintenance, including risk management and technical documentation.
  • Establish, maintain, follow up, and continuously improve GMP implementation across the organization.
  • Ensure products consistently meet customer specifications, regulatory requirements, and GMP standards.

  • Supervise and coordinate R&D trials at benchtop, pilot, and full-scale production levels to validate new and revised formulations, ingredients, and processing parameters.
  • Lead execution of plant trials, including preparation of trial plans, raw material coordination, process setup, and real-time data collection.
  • Maintain and optimize processing profiles in collaboration with Operations and Processing teams.
  • Perform laboratory tests on raw materials, in-process materials, packaging materials, and finished products, particularly APIs and finished dosage forms, following established SOPs.
  • Ensure sample and data traceability throughout testing.
  • Accurately calculate and analyze data to reflect raw data, ensuring test controls and monitors are properly recorded.
  • Maintain accuracy and efficiency in testing, documenting results in compliance with GMP and GLP standards.

  • Follow up that materials are ready for daily requirements in all stages (granulation, compression, coating, packaging) of the manufacturing section.
  • Ensure that machines have been set as planned.
  • Ensure completeness of all process specifications, PI sheets, and in-process documents to comply with GMP regulation and raw material usage.
  • Monitor and supervise the training progress of new process operators in machine operation, cleaning, and in-process control checks.
  • Coordinate with concerned departments for pre- and post-production activities to ensure the achievement of production plans.
  • Participate in and manage problem-solving duties occurring during pharmaceutical manufacturing, decide on the most appropriate plan for solution, and approve the plan of action.

  • Inspect materials and equipment upon arrival to ensure they meet quality standards and report any discrepancies or damages.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all storage activities, including receipts, dispatches, and inventory levels.
